We have briefly through the transition of Carmancita ''Ging'' come together with a goal to put together the event in celebration of her physical life. As we are moving to close the visible reminder of Ging's material life on December 18 and 19, we will each go on our ways to continue living our existential conditions. I have realized that in the midst of our collective thoughts processing Ging's transition that inevitably the experience differs from one to another. However, the common thread that reflects in all of us is a part of the essence of Ging and what she had demonstrated in her physical life: she was courageous, determined, selfless, humorous, persevering,discerning, supporting and loving. Through her intellect and direct action she has achieved social change to benefit many and through her open heart has touched all of us that were privileged to be in the proximity of her physical life. Ging was a teacher/practitioner of virtues and together we can enhance our awareness to awaken ourselves to demonstrate part of the essence of Ging for our highest good and the good of all, as she undoubtedly lives through us!
